This project is always growing and always taking little steps. So we have taken some little steps to help you stay up to date. In 2007 a group of board members began to look at the possibilities of upgrading our current kitchen & dining hall. After some research it was found that it required the same amount of resources to bring the entire current building up to code as it was to build an entirely new building. Therefore the new kitchen dining hall project was born.
As discussions were had about where the building would be placed it was decided that there was only one location that would work and that it was not a good location. The camp was in need of more area to build and grow in. Therefore the camp board approved the motion to purchase the entire quarter of land the camp is located on. This land was purchased and paid for by the closing of 2008.
This new land has allowed us the proper room to fit the 110’x 50’ building in central part of our camp, with proper delivery, and room for parking.
This new building will allow us to provide an improved area for summer meals and support staff accomadations as well as a place for year round ministry services to the Dauphin Area.
Some of these services will be summer camps, rental opportunities, meeting rooms, toboggan hill, family gatherings, weddings, winter camping, school groups and much more.

This project is important to campers, parents, volunteers, staff, rental groups & the community of Dauphin because it will allow us to continue to provide the best food and accomadations possible in a building with improved safety and design.
It will also provide a large year round rental opportunity that is only 15 minutes away from Dauphin and 2 hours from Brandon.
It will benifit ministries in providing them with a quality option in planning conferences, events and meetings with the long term benifit of increased campership & sponsor opportunities for the Dauphin Bible Camp.
